DIY: A Side Table on Wheels

Here's a genius idea: a table on a platform and wheels. We spotted this one in the studio of Brooklyn-based designer Lotta Jansdotter, featured on Design Sponge. Read on for sources to make your own.

Above: Photograph by Kitchen Resource Direct. Order a piece of plywood from your local lumber yard based on the exact dimensions of the table (o make a thicker base, order two pieces of plywood and glue together by covering one side with Elmer's glue and nailing a second sheet on top).

N.B. If the table is too wide, you will have to reinforce the wooden platform base, or at the very least add an extra set of wheels in the middle to support the load.
