A Classic Mop with a Twist of Color

The multi-colored Wool Dry Mop is not an infomercial super-mop; just an iconic design made from materials sourced and assembled in the US from 1909 Vermont-based Slack Dust Mop Company.

The company's inception began with Alexander P. Slack's makeshift mop from a piece of coiled copper wire and stacked cotton rags. Today the business is carried by grandson Thomas G. Slack II who sources colored wool carpet remnants from South Carolina and Georgia and recycled poplar wood that is hand-lacquered to enhance the material. The wool itself inherently attracts dust and holds on to it with its naturally occurring lanolin.
