The stackable stool is the work of Tokyo-based multi-disciplinary firm Torafu Architects, who collaborated with Ishinomaki Laboratory in Miyagi prefecture to create the wooden stool. Made from two-by-four-inch cedar decking, the stool is slightly higher than the average chair seat and come in sets of two that can be used together as one seat or separated into two when needed.
