Photographer Leslie Williamson would not normally go scouring flea markets, but for Garrett she did. The Garrett in question? Garrett Colton, owner of ST&NDARD GOODS in LA.
Put it down to an eye for design, savvy business acumen, and straightforward midwest integrity: Garrett's shop has barely been open a year, but he's managed to endear himself to many of the city's creative types. In addition to his retail offerings, he's created a guest buyer series, reaching out to individuals who inspire him and asking them to source secondhand and vintage goods (half of the proceeds going to a charity of their choice). His latest series features Leslie Williamson's finds, which are available in-store at the Beverly Boulevard shop. Proceeds go to the JB Blunk Estate.
