Design Sleuth: Wardian Case

Spotted on the blog Katy Elliott: a Wardian case, an early form of terrarium, developed in the mid-1800s to transport rare plant specimens. Today, they can still be used to create an indoor garden (or serve as a vitrine for beloved objects).
