DIY: Instant Hallway Hooks Made from Blocks

Here's a clever DIY hook idea from German design studio Snug, using an unexpected material—wood children's blocks.

Snug, a Hannover-based design studio founded by interior designer Kerstin Reilmann and architect Berit Lüdecke, recently participated in a contest called HelloGoodbye, arranged by Das rote Paket (a German retail and online shop). The theme was to create a "ready-made design" for the entrance or hallway. Snug's contribution: DIY wall hooks made from wooden toy blocks. Here is how you can recreate the hooks, which takes less than an hour to complete—my kind of DIY project.
